A World Apart
Staring at strangers passing by
Observing those closest to me
Floating by
Disconnected detachment
Separating removal
Ghosts among the living
At times they can touch
Sometimes even feel
But mostly pierce through you
With glass smoked eyes
Memories that never were
And never could be.
They belong nowhere
Nowhere belongs to them
So apart it seems
From everything
That appears as real around them.
Accept Me As I Am
I am who I am
I am me.
I believe what I believe
I know what I know
I have seen what I have seen
Accept me as I am
I am just me.
I know what I believe
And I believe what I know
But then again,
Believing what I know
And knowing what I believe,
You will still find me knocking at your door
So accept me as I am
Confused and unsure.
I don't know what I believe
And I am not sure about what I know
The true way
I am afraid I may never know.
I rearrange the pieces
See what I'm missing
Accept me as I am
I am still learning and growing.

Angels (08/04/09)
When angels sing,
The world seems to bring
Time to a stand still.
My body forgets to breath
My mind wonders along
Following choruses and harmonies -
Perfect in where they belong -
Joys, sufferings and celebrating
When angels sing.
When angels speak
Their words mingle then linger
Dancing a picture
Or becoming a tangible creature
Caressing each feature
Gently awakening all senses
My body a relaxed stillness
Forgotten all weakness
When angels speak
Where angels be
There is no need for air to breath
As everything in you lives
All wrongs freeze
Failings seize
Carried away by a forgotten breeze.
Pure moment in time
For pure truth and love
Where angels be.
