If I died tomorrow…

Think of me and smile.
Do not cry
Or moan
Not even a sniffle.

Do not walk around wearing all black
With the depression coat clinging round your shoulders
Do not mourn me.

If I died today …

Remember my smile
Let it infect you as it always does
Dress up in all colours and shades
Let their vibrance shine through your face

Have a party unlike any other
Full of laughter, singing and dance
Suffocating any misery attempting to creep in
Removing the joy

If I died yesterday…

Live your life today knowing
I am right there with you always
Holding your hand
Hugging you tight
Smiling at and loving you
Always and forever

Looking Through Life ...with the Lord.

Looking back to where you've come from
Seeing where you've been
I pray the Lord is holding you
Taking you where you need to be.
Bringing you in union
To exactly who and where
You are meant to be.

Looking around you
Nothing is as it should be
Your past and future never seem to meet
Chaos in your mind
Turmoil in side
Destruction seems to call on your demise.
I pray the Lord holds you close
Becoming the vision you see the most.
Through this world's cruel reality
May He call your name and provide some sanity.
Comforting you so you always know
You are who and where you are meant to be.

Looking forward it's all a dream
Seeing everything that could be.
I pray the Lord still holding you
Leads you to where you should be
Guiding you in wisdom
So you always know
You are who and where you are supposed to be.

Note:

He never asked you for perfection
Or for you to always be right
He only seeks make a connection
And be your guiding light.
Your life filled with hope, trust and love
Knowing He will always provide
Is enough for Him to keep you alive.

My Voice

God's choice of voice for me
Is seldom heard
But recorded
In my every written word.

Thoughts and feelings
I'd never say
Bleed out of me
On every page

When it began
I cannot quite say
I only know
The release it gave.

I never thought much about it
I had no reason to doubt it.
As it came
I let it flow out
My way of discovering
What life is
all about.

Random Thoughts - The Cursed Body

Lord it is so tempting to call the body cursed.  The sin it carries in the eyes, the mind and in touch.  From it’s fragile conception developing with ever weakening age until eventually decay.
